Service Manager – Supported Accommodation

About the role

The Service Manager will lead a team within two supported accommodation services in Wirral, ensuring safe and high‑quality care for vulnerable customers. You will provide motivational leadership and drive continuous improvement across the service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operational management of supported housing services.
• Motivate and engage staff to deliver a customer‑first service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.
• Monitor, review and evaluate service outcomes to inform improvements.
• Handle conflict resolution and make consistent, confident decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a team in a supported housing environment.
• Ability to work in challenging settings, plan and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on listening and feedback.
• Experience reviewing and analysing service performance data.

Required skills

• Competent IT skills, including database usage.
• Ability to produce reports and communicate findings.
• Data analysis to drive service improvements.
