Service Manager – Wellbeing Services

About the role

Join the Wellbeing Management team as a Service Manager, based in Oxford. You will lead the delivery of non‑clinical mental health services, overseeing resource planning, budgeting, business continuity and risk management while collaborating with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee contracted service delivery, ensuring compliance with KPIs, quality standards and reporting requirements.
• Lead contract management meetings and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Manage and develop a team, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Analyse service data to drive improvements and demonstrate impact.
• Engage with partners to enhance service provision and quality.
• Control the overall budget for the service area.
• Contribute to the broader development of the Wellbeing Service.
• Represent the organisation at external meetings and community events.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading and managing services and teams.
• Proven ability in contract management and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues and non‑clinical mental health services.
• Excellent organisational, administrative and IT proficiency.
• Collaborative approach with a focus on team development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and their application.
