Service Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Service Supervisor to be the central hub of a busy plant and vehicle service operation. You will coordinate field engineers, manage customer interactions and ensure that service jobs are planned and executed to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and schedule service appointments.
• Allocate work to Field Service Engineers based on priority, location and skill set.
• Provide engineers with the correct parts, information and resources needed for each job.
• Monitor job progress, keep customers informed and manage any changes.
• Handle holiday requests and act as the first point of contact for engineer absences.
• Review job documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Process jobs through to invoicing and resolve any invoice queries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer service, service coordination, after‑sales or similar environments.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure.
• Confident communicator with customers, engineers and internal teams.
