Service Team Leader – Checkout Operations

About the role

As a Service Team Leader you will drive the front‑end operations of the store, ensuring smooth checkout processes, excellent customer service and efficient use of kiosks and car parks.

Key responsibilities

• Be visible on the shop floor, supporting colleagues and keeping queues moving.
• Lead a friendly, high‑performing team, fostering a culture of trust and recognition.
• Ensure daily processes, cash handling and legal obligations are followed.
• Analyse store reports and dashboards to identify improvements.
• Maintain a tidy department and manage put‑backs to minimise waste.

Required profile

• Natural leader with a helpful, friendly style.
• Strong operational knowledge of front‑end service departments.
• Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Enjoys coaching and developing team members.

Required skills

• Experience with cash handling procedures.
• Ability to interpret store data and dashboards.
