Service Transition & Design Contractor (3‑day onsite)

About the role

We are seeking a Service Transition and Service Designer to join a fast‑moving organisation on a three‑month contract. The role is based in the North West of England and requires three days on site each week. You will work on multiple programmes, helping to introduce and improve services across several business units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead service transition activities and ensure smooth hand‑over to operations.
• Design and introduce new services, aligning with business objectives.
• Identify and implement service improvements on large, complex programmes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver on a busy roadmap.
• Track deliverables and contribute to performance‑based bonuses.

Required profile

• ITIL accreditation is mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience working on large‑scale service transition or design projects.
• Ability to work on‑site three days a week and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
