Service Transition Project Manager – Emergency Services Network (6‑month contract)

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Service Transition Project Manager to lead a critical six‑month contract for the Emergency Services Network (ESN). The role bridges project delivery and live operations, ensuring new and changed infrastructure services are resilient, supportable, and meet strict operational readiness standards before go‑live.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end transition lifecycle for managed services across internal teams, customers, and third‑party suppliers.
- Define and implement operational models, including support arrangements, SLAs, OLAs, monitoring, and runbooks.
- Drive governance by enforcing service acceptance criteria, managing transition plans, milestones, risks, and formal handover approvals.
Required profile
- Proven experience transitioning large‑scale IT, telecom, or infrastructure services into live environments, preferably using the ITIL framework.
- Background in critical infrastructure such as telecoms, networks, data centres, or facilities/estates management.
- Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills with the ability to maintain quality standards.
- Immediate availability to start a fast‑paced execution phase.
