Services Manager – Blandford

About the role

We are recruiting an experienced Services Manager for a leading facilities management organisation supporting the UK Defence estate. You will own the delivery of reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, remedial works and billable projects across a complex operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate reactive maintenance, PPM, remedial and billable works.
• Manage contractor and supplier performance to ensure value for money and contractual compliance.
• Monitor operational performance against service level agreements and proactively mitigate risks.
• Maintain accurate records in CAFM systems and ensure documentation is up‑to‑date.
• Support compliance programmes for asbestos, legionella and temporary works.
• Collaborate with customers, stakeholders and internal teams to resolve service issues and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities or services management within a large, regulated estate.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and statutory compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and internal resources effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
