Sewing Machinist – Milton Keynes

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sewing Machinist to join a well‑established manufacturing business in Milton Keynes. This is a full‑time, permanent position offering a supportive environment, overtime opportunities and long‑term career stability.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out production sewing tasks to meet KPI targets.
• Operate industrial sewing machinery safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high‑quality standards throughout the production process.
• Report productivity or machinery issues to management promptly.
• Assist with production planning and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support stock checks and general factory operations as needed.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience using industrial sewing machines.
• Close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good time‑keeping and reliability.
