Sewing Repair Technician & Administrator

About the role
This position combines administration, customer support, product assessment and hands‑on repair coordination within a sewing workshop. It is ideal for someone with office experience who also enjoys practical DIY or stitching tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Assess luggage items for authenticity, repair feasibility and required repair level.
- Carry out basic repair work and support the repair process where needed.
- Ensure repairs follow approved methods and use genuine parts.
- Identify required parts, estimate repair times and package completed items for return.
- Manage repair administration from assessment through to dispatch, maintaining accurate records and quality documentation.
- Coordinate repair workflows, monitor items awaiting parts and liaise with workshop and customer support teams.
- Respond to customer queries related to repairs and ensure accurate dispatch paperwork and labelling.
- Monitor stock levels, alert supervisors when parts need ordering and uphold company procedures and data‑protection regulations.
Required profile
- Practical mindset with interest in DIY, repairs, crafts or stitching.
- Previous administration or office‑based experience.
- Strong organisational and communication abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a varied workload in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous repair experience not essential; training will be provided.
