About the role

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Sexual Health Nurse to join its integrated Sexual Health Service in Shropshire. The role involves delivering high‑quality sexual health and contraception care within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver nurse‑led clinics, ensuring continuity of service.
• Assess patients presenting with undifferentiated or undiagnosed problems using advanced nursing knowledge.
• Plan, coordinate and review patients’ healthcare needs, including routine examinations and investigations.
• Order necessary investigations and provide appropriate treatment and referrals.
• Collaborate with other health professionals and external agencies to optimise patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with experience in sexual health and contraception services.
• Post‑registration qualifications or demonstrated competencies in the specialty.
• Passion for sexual health, a proactive “can‑do” attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
