Sheet Metal Worker – Construction

About the role

Join Courtney Roofing Inc. as a Sheet Metal Worker on construction sites across the Greater London area. You will be responsible for installing, fabricating, and repairing sheet metal components for industrial, commercial, and institutional projects.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates and blueprints.
• Cut metal using power tools or hand tools.
• Estimate material quantities and costs for each job.
• Fit, join, and install sheet metal products in compliance with building codes.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and maps.
• Perform on‑site fabrication, retrofit, and custom metal work such as copper roofs, eavestroughs, and flashing.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of sheet metal work in construction.
• WHMIS certification and Fall Arrest Protection training.
• Valid driver’s licence, clean driving record, and own transportation.
• Ability to work at heights, outdoors, and handle physical demands (lifting up to 45 kg).
