SHEQ Manager – Health, Safety, Environment & Quality

About the role

This senior position sits within the site’s senior management team and reports directly to the Site Manager. You will lead the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality function for a manufacturing site in Bridgwater, ensuring compliance with legislation and driving continuous improvement across all QHSE areas.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve the site’s QHSE management system.
• Maintain and obtain quality accreditations and HSE certifications.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture throughout the business.
• Lead a small team (one direct report) and work closely with senior management.

Required profile

• Proven HSEQ background with experience in COMAH, DSEAR, HAZOP and ISO 14001.
• Relevant industry experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team and implement strategic initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety standards and regulatory compliance.
