SHEQ Manager (training/Progression to Directorship)

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing specialist contractor, taking responsibility for SHEQ performance, site compliance, quality assurance and continuous improvement across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop SHEQ strategy, policies and procedures across the business.
• Ensure compliance with CDM 2015, HSE requirements, British Standards, Building Regulations, PAS 9980 and BS 8414.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and non‑conformances while implementing corrective actions.
• Deliver toolbox talks, SHEQ briefings and coaching to site teams and subcontractors.

Required profile

• SHEQ Manager, site manager/supervisor/foreman or similar background.
• Experience within roofing, cladding, facades, construction or building‑envelope sectors.
• Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and construction compliance.
• SMSTS, NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent qualifications (preferred or can be trained).

Required skills

• Knowledge of CDM 2015.
• Familiarity with HSE requirements.
• Understanding of British Standards.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations.
• Experience with PAS 9980.
• Experience with BS 8414.
• SMSTS certification.
• NEBOSH certification.
• IOSH certification.
