Shift Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

Join Five Guys in Radlett as a Shift Manager, overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring every guest enjoys a perfect burger and fries experience. You will work closely with the General and Assistant Managers to maintain high standards and a positive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach the front‑of‑house and kitchen teams during each shift.
• Support the General Manager in delivering consistent product quality and service.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Monitor shift performance, control costs, and contribute to profitability.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of management experience in a high‑volume hospitality or quick‑service restaurant.
• Strong focus on guest satisfaction with proven results.
• Ability to manage a busy shift, keep energy high, and lead by example.
• Basic financial awareness to run a profitable shift.
