Shipping Coordinator

About the role

The Shipping Coordinator will support Altrad’s Group objectives by managing the flow of goods through the Central Stores Facility. You will ensure that all shipments are prepared, packaged and dispatched safely and in compliance with legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate materials and logistics, including preparation, packaging and containerisation of goods.
• Assist with transportation planning and international shipments.
• Supervise dangerous goods and radioactive shipments to meet legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate stock levels, conduct quarterly audits and manage surplus material.
• Act as the daily interface between Operations, Purchasing and the R Plant team.
• Support HSEQ initiatives and adhere to Altrad’s Safer Together behaviours.

Required profile

• Current IMDG Dangerous Goods by Sea certification.
• Current IMDG Radioactive by Sea certification.
• Computer literacy and B2 forklift licence.
• Strong health & safety awareness and ability to work as a team player.
• Moderate experience in a similar logistics or shipping role.
• Willingness to develop team skills and share expertise.
