Shipping Coordinator – Logistics & Administration

About the role

We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join a leading wholesaler supplying major UK high‑street and European brands. The role combines logistics administration with customer service, offering clear progression in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with factories and freight forwarders in the Far East and with customers and logistics partners in the UK.
• Manage shipment consolidation, prepare and issue shipping documentation.
• Administer customer systems to ensure smooth booking and delivery of shipments.
• Maintain the supply system, covering orders, products, assemblies, shipments and invoices.
• Submit order and shipment invoices to customer accounts teams and monitor payment schedules.
• Keep accurate records of customers, suppliers and purchasing files.
• Communicate daily with forwarders, factories, logistics and internal teams.
• Assist the finance team with processing supplier invoices and matching them to purchase orders.
• Perform general administrative duties and support other areas as required.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to work with PDF documents.
