Showroom Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Showroom Assistant to support the MaxMara Wholesale Showroom team at our London head office on a 5‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is fast‑paced and hands‑on, offering insight into the luxury wholesale business and the chance to develop industry experience.

Key responsibilities

• Set up showrooms for campaigns together with Sales and Visual Merchandising teams.
• Assist Sales Managers with client orders, track changes on buy sheets, enter provisional orders and handle related administrative tasks.
• Support the Showroom Manager with sample inventory, showroom set‑up, pack‑down and sample movement.
• Manage hospitality, refreshments and client experience during meetings and events.
• Check purchase orders throughout campaigns alongside the Logistics team.
• Provide front‑of‑house duties: welcome guests, answer telephone enquiries and maintain showroom standards.
• Support out‑of‑market activities such as staff training, press days, events, research and ad‑hoc projects for Retail, Logistics, E‑Commerce and Press teams.

• Positive, enthusiastic and proactive, eager to support colleagues and contribute to the team.
• Collaborative team player who can also work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Resourceful, resilient and confident in solving problems independently.
• Eager to learn about the wholesale fashion industry and develop new skills.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good working knowledge of Google Sheets.
