About the role
Acorn by Synergie is seeking experienced Shuttering Carpenters for a three‑month temporary contract on a commercial construction project in Exeter. The role involves constructing and installing formwork systems while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
Key responsibilities
- Construct and install shuttering and formwork systems.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Ensure formwork is safe, secure, and compliant with site requirements.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety.
- Follow health and safety procedures and wear full PPE.
Required profile
- Proven carpentry experience within the construction industry.
- Valid Blue CSCS card.
- Reliable, consistent, and strong work ethic.

What we offer
- Competitive hourly rate of £24 (CIS available).
- Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑6 pm schedule.
