Signage Designer

About the role

You are a Signage Designer who understands how physical signage is actually made, not just how it looks on screen. You enjoy taking a brief and turning it into something that can be manufactured, installed and delivered properly.

Key responsibilities

• Translate customer briefs into clear signage concepts, visual designs and production‑ready artwork.
• Collaborate with sales and project teams to capture client requirements and ensure feasibility.
• Liaise with production to verify that designs are practical, accurate and suitable for manufacturing processes.
• Produce a variety of signage products, from standard internal and external signs to bespoke fabricated and illuminated solutions.
• Prepare and amend design files for manufacture and provide technical artwork support to the wider team as needed.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of how physical signage is fabricated, including materials, fixings and dimensions.
• Detail‑oriented and commercially aware, able to work closely with sales, production and installation teams.
• Proven experience designing internal and external signage, wayfinding, built‑up letters, trays, fascias, illuminated signs or similar fabricated products.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and other design software to create technical artwork and production‑ready files.
• Comfortable interpreting briefs, working with measurements and producing accurate drawings for production and installation.
