Site Agent - Civils

About the role

You will join a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK. Based on the Sizewell C site in Leiston, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and successful delivery of allocated work packages.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site activities and operational delivery from planning through completion.
• Lead engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered to programme, budget and quality expectations.
• Develop short‑term programmes, coordinate resources and monitor progress.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation measures and manage quality assurance processes.
• Produce project documentation and support commercial performance through accurate reporting and cost control.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders and project management teams.
• Promote a positive health, safety and environmental culture and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Agent, Senior Engineer or Sub‑Agent on civil engineering or major infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of CDM regulations, health & safety and quality management systems.
• Experience managing subcontractors, resources and site logistics.
• Strong leadership abilities with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
• Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certifications and a full UK driving licence.
