Site Agent – Rail Project (12 months)

About the role

Randstad is seeking a Site Agent for a 12‑month rail project on the South London/Surrey borders. You will be responsible for overseeing all site civil drainage and groundworks activities, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage site engineers and subcontractors on civil drainage and groundworks.
• Plan, forecast and deliver work in line with programme targets.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders and the wider project team.
• Develop programmes, risk assessments and quality assurance processes.
• Handle design coordination, non‑conformance reports (NCRs), requests for information (RFIs) and health & safety compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site civil drainage and groundworks on construction projects.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and site engineers.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment, quality assurance and H&S regulations.
• Experience preparing and managing design documentation, NCRs and RFIs.
