Site Engineer

About the role

Weststone Construction is seeking a full‑time Site Engineer to join its Glasgow team. The role involves overseeing daily site operations, ensuring quality and safety standards, and delivering structural and civil engineering tasks on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor progress of construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain workflow.
• Troubleshoot on‑site issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and reports.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in on‑site project management and execution.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and standards (advantageous).
