Site Engineer – Rail Projects (PTS)

About the role
We are seeking a Site Engineer to join a high‑profile rail infrastructure project in the North of England. The role involves civil works within a railway environment and offers a long‑term temporary assignment.
Key responsibilities
- Set out and monitor works on site.
- Conduct Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and develop Work Package Plans.
- Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded according to specifications.
- Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Raise and resolve technical queries.
- Verify that all materials and work performed conform to specifications.
Required profile
- Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in civil or rail environments.
- Valid PTS/CSCS card.
- Background with Tier 1 TWC projects.
Required skills
- Setting out and monitoring of site works.
- Inspection Test Plans (ITP) execution.
- Work Package planning.
- Quality control procedures.
