Site Engineer – Yorkshire Water Framework

About the role

We are seeking a Site Engineer to join the Yorkshire Water Framework team in Leeds. You will work on essential water infrastructure projects, balancing technical engineering tasks with stakeholder collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage survey controls, set gridlines and carry out land‑surveying activities on site.
• Create, review and maintain quality documentation using digital tools.
• Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
• Perform quality control checks on all materials and complete required testing.
• Support graduate engineers in their professional development.

Required profile

• Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering or construction discipline.
• Experience in civil or construction site engineering.
• Full driving licence and CSCS card.
• SMSTS certification.

Required skills

• Land surveying and gridline setting.
• Use of digital tools for documentation and record keeping.
• Quality control and testing procedures.
