Site Labourer

About the role

Finlay Jude Associates Limited are recruiting experienced Site Labourers to support mechanical installation projects for a client in the Rossendale area. The role involves working on a variety of industrial sites, including wastewater treatment facilities and effluent plants, across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Follow instructions from the Installation Supervisor and adhere to company standards.
• Assist with the installation and assembly of equipment and systems.
• Measure and mark dimensions accurately using a tape measure.
• Select and safely use appropriate hand and power tools for each task.
• Maintain housekeeping standards inside tanks, vessels and confined spaces.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, checking deliveries for discrepancies.
• Report health, safety, environmental or quality issues promptly.

Required profile

• Valid Green CSCS Card (minimum requirement).
• Previous experience on construction, industrial or mechanical installation sites.
• Ability to work safely in industrial environments, including wastewater facilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home for extended periods.

Required skills

• Accurate tape measurement.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Proficiency with power tools.
• Mechanical installation techniques.
