Site Manager – Civils/Construction (UK Wide, based near Swansea)

About the role

We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to join a market‑leading construction business delivering civil engineering and construction projects across England and Wales. You will oversee day‑to‑day site operations, lead teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards. The role requires regular travel and overnight stays, working away Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations, including site set‑up and mobilisation.
• Lead site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient project delivery.
• Monitor productivity, quality and progress against project programmes.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality standards while liaising with clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven Site Management experience within Civils and/or Construction environments.
• SMSTS qualification and a strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
• Experience leading site‑based teams with strong organisational and communication skills.
• Willingness to work away Monday to Friday across England and Wales and be based within 50 miles of Swansea.
