Site Manager – Construction (Faslane Naval Base)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the Kier/Graham Joint Venture team at Faslane Naval Base. You will lead the delivery of capital works for the MOD, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safe delivery of construction activities under stringent safety conditions.
• Direct subcontractor partners to deliver work packages such as groundworks, drainage, structural frame erection, roofing, cladding and interior fit‑out.
• Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements to confirm safe and appropriate working methods.
• Coordinate site logistics, including movement of plant and labour while maintaining safety standards.
• Create, log and file site reports accurately using platforms such as Procore and SnapMaster.

Required profile

• Management experience in a similar UK construction role.
• Experience on large‑scale commercial builds ranging from £10M to £100M.
• Relevant Construction Management qualification (HND/Degree/SVQ).
• SMSTS 5‑day certificate, CSCS card and First Aid certification.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with subcontractors and project teams.
