Site Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are partnering with a forward‑thinking construction firm in Devon to find an experienced Site Manager for a new, diverse scheme. The role involves leading the on‑site delivery of a high‑rise, new‑build accommodation project, ensuring safety, quality and schedule targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations, managing labour, plant and material resources.
• Lead, motivate and coordinate site teams to maintain a productive working environment.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practice.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.

Required profile

• Valid CSCS card, SMSTS certification and First Aid at Work.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale Design & Build projects.
• Experience on new‑build high‑rise accommodation schemes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Highly organised, proactive and committed to high standards.
