Site Manager – Educational Estate

About the role

We are recruiting a senior Site Manager for a large, modern educational estate in Isleworth. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will own the operational, compliance, maintenance and security functions of the site, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for staff, students and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage caretaking, cleaning, security and lettings teams.
• Act as the lead Health & Safety Officer, driving compliance and best practice.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, inspections, audits and statutory checks.
• Manage external contractors and service providers, ensuring quality, compliance and value for money.
• Take responsibility for utilities, CCTV, alarms, fire safety systems and access control.
• Conduct risk assessments, health & safety reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Control budgets for repairs, maintenance, health & safety and furniture/fittings.
• Develop and implement estate strategy, asset management and sustainability plans.
• Monitor energy consumption and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Coordinate site preparations for events, open evenings and community activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Facilities Management, Estates Management or Site Management.
• Strong background in Property and Building Operations.
• Health & Safety Management expertise.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and compliance testing.

What we offer

• Salary £42,771 – £45,750 per year (PO2 Points 29‑32).
• Permanent, full‑time contract – 36 hours per week.
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and 2 additional Christmas closure days.
