Site Manager

About the role

Our client, a well‑established regional main contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead multiple commercial, education and healthcare projects across Devon. You will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage site operations, labour and resources to ensure efficient delivery.
• Lead, motivate and coordinate site teams, fostering a productive environment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practice.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Required profile

• Valid CSCS card, SMSTS certification and First Aid at Work.
• Proven design‑and‑build experience as a lead ("number one") Site Manager.
• Track record delivering multi‑million‑pound projects, especially in healthcare.
• Highly organised, proactive and committed to high standards.
