Site Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead mechanical building services projects across London and the South East. This home‑based position involves overseeing multiple live sites, ensuring safe, on‑time delivery of high‑quality installations in healthcare and education environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 2‑3 live projects simultaneously, coordinating direct labour and subcontractors.
• Take responsibility for site health & safety and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and end users to maintain strong relationships.
• Resolve day‑to‑day site issues and keep projects progressing.
• Monitor programme, quality and progress, providing regular updates.
• Attend site meetings and deliver project status reports.
• Conduct occasional site surveys, measurements and scoping for new works.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Site Manager within mechanical building services.
• Proven track record managing commercial plumbing, HVAC, water or boiler installation projects.
• Comfortable overseeing multiple sites and subcontractors.
• Strong client‑facing and communication abilities.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
• Ability to organise workloads, solve problems and make decisions on site.
• Full UK driving licence.
