About the role
We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager for a well‑established main contractor delivering refurbishment and fit‑out projects across Hertfordshire. You will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, quality, time and budget targets are met.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day site operations and coordinate trades and subcontractors.
- Maintain health and safety compliance at all times.
- Control programme progress and produce regular reports.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams.
- Ensure quality control throughout all project phases.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within a main‑contractor environment.
- Experience delivering refurbishment projects, preferably in the healthcare or public sector.
- Ability to manage projects valued between £300k and £2 million.
- SMSTS certification, CSCS card and First Aid certificate.
