Site Manager – Planned Retrofit Works

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Site Manager to lead internal and external retrofit refurbishment projects for social housing and decent homes across the Cobham area. You will be client‑facing, overseeing a team of Assistant Site Managers and Customer Service Officers to deliver high‑quality refurbishment programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Control overall direction and financial management of the contract.
• Work closely with the client and their representatives to ensure service quality.
• Manage costs and subcontractors, implementing short, mid and long‑term programmes.
• Conduct onsite inspections, investigations, and prepare reports with solutions.
• Hand over properties on schedule, meeting strict KPIs.
• Maintain health and safety standards on site.
• Oversee site administration, staff scheduling, and material procurement.
• Chair sub‑contractor progress meetings and liaise with design teams, consultants, and client representatives.
• Program work schedules using MS Project.

Required profile

• Hands‑on Site Manager with a proven track record of delivering retrofit projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with external cladding works and reputable main contractors.
• Strong ability to manage site teams and maintain a visible site presence.
