Site Manager – Restaurant Fit‑Out (Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the day‑to‑day delivery of a fast‑paced restaurant fit‑out in Manchester city centre. The role will run for 6‑8 weeks, starting 20 July, and reports directly to the Senior Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations for the restaurant fit‑out project.
• Coordinate subcontractors to meet programme requirements.
• Monitor health, safety and compliance across the site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and toolbox talks.
• Liaise with the Senior Project Manager, client representatives and subcontractors.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage site records, permits, inductions and project documentation.
• Identify and resolve site issues to keep the project on track.

Required profile

• SMSTS certification.
• First Aid at Work certification.
• CSCS Black or Gold Card.
• Asbestos Awareness training.
• Proven experience managing commercial fit‑out projects.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
