Site Manager / Site Supervisor – UK Wide (SSSTS/SMSTS)

About the role

ARCA Resourcing is seeking an experienced Site Manager / Site Supervisor to lead high‑voltage transmission and distribution projects across the UK. The role involves acting as the senior authority on site, ensuring safe, on‑time and high‑quality delivery for National Grid and DNO contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for site delivery on assigned projects or work packages.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Site Managers, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ, CDM regulations, National Grid and DNO requirements.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring performance, quality and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Maintain programme awareness, support inspections, testing and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Principal Contractor Site Manager or equivalent on transmission and distribution projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate across multiple sites with regular travel.

Required skills

• High‑voltage transmission and distribution project experience.
• Knowledge of National Grid and DNO site requirements.
• Understanding of CDM Regulations and health & safety legislation.
