Site Manager – Water & Wastewater Projects

About the role

AFECO is seeking a Site Manager to lead on‑site construction, installation and commissioning activities for water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the North West of England. The role ensures safe, compliant and efficient site operations while delivering projects to the required quality, programme and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations for construction, mechanical, electrical and ICA installation works.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
• Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks and site coordination meetings.
• Maintain health and safety standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor progress against programme and budget, reporting to the Operations Manager.

• Proven experience managing on‑site construction for water or wastewater projects.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal engineering teams.
