Site Payments Analyst

About the role

ICON Strategic Solutions is looking for a Site Payments Analyst to join its sponsor-dedicated team. The analyst manages site payments and subject reimbursements for assigned studies in line with Clinical Trial Agreements, reimbursement plans and regulations. The role is remote.

Key responsibilities

• Develop study-specific site and subject payment strategies with Site Payment leadership and payment vendors.
• Work with vendors and internal stakeholders so that payment configurations are completed on site activation.
• Verify that contracts, budgets and participant travel and reimbursement requirements are entered accurately into the site payment system.
• Review and approve site and patient payments and reimbursements, escalating issues to Site Payment leadership.
• Ensure payments to clinical trial sites, investigators and patients are processed timely and accurately.
• Perform periodic quality checks and reconciliation reviews of data.
• Act as the point of contact for investigational sites and internal stakeholders on payment questions.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of clinical trial budgets.
• Bachelor's degree or higher (or equivalent degree/experience in the hiring manager's view).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Proactive, communicative and customer-service oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented, able to spot data discrepancies and handle large volumes of data.
