Site Services Manager – Engineering

About the role

Premier Foods is seeking a Site Services Manager to lead the utilities and infrastructure function at its Lifton manufacturing site. You will ensure safe, compliant and efficient operation of critical services that keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead safe and efficient operation of steam, refrigeration, compressed air, water, HVAC, fire, drainage and grounds systems.
• Manage the site effluent treatment plant and ensure environmental compliance.
• Act as designated duty holder for specific systems where appointed.
• Develop and deliver maintenance, asset‑care and resilience plans for critical equipment.
• Lead, coach and develop the Site Services team and oversee specialist contractors.
• Own departmental budgets, forecasts and cost‑control activities.
• Monitor utility usage, environmental performance, maintenance effectiveness and overall site condition.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Health & Safety and external partners to manage risk and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in site services, utilities or facilities engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of industrial utilities such as steam, refrigeration, pressure systems, compressed air, water treatment or effluent management.
• Experience managing statutory compliance, environmental requirements and contractor control.
• Track record of delivering maintenance strategies, managing budgets and improving operational performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
• Proactive, hands‑on and collaborative leadership style.
