Site Supervisor – Nature Based Solutions

About the role

Binnies is looking for a hands‑on Site Supervisor to join its Solutions By Nature (SBN) team. You will lead day‑to‑day site delivery of nature‑based projects such as Sustainable Drainage Systems, river restoration and integrated constructed wetlands across the Midlands and South/East England.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities from mobilisation through to completion.
• Supervise operatives and subcontractors, ensuring safe and efficient work.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and verify that outputs meet specifications.
• Monitor progress against programme, escalating risks or issues as needed.
• Ensure all work respects sensitive ecosystems and supports environmental mitigation measures.
• Coordinate plant, materials and deliveries in line with the programme.
• Manage subcontractor performance and site logistics.
• Champion a strong safety culture, especially in water‑based and remote environments.
• Support other Binnies construction projects and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman in civil or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of site operations and safe systems of work.
• Ability to work outdoors in remote, natural environments.
• Experience liaising with ecologists, engineers, landowners and local stakeholders.
