Site Supervisor – Utility Connection Projects

About the role

A leading UK multi‑utility and infrastructure organisation is looking for a Site Supervisor to oversee the delivery of utility connection projects across residential, commercial and industrial sites. You will manage on‑site activities, coordinate teams and resources, and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site operational delivery for multiple utility and infrastructure projects.
• Monitor project programmes and ensure works meet client expectations and agreed timescales.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and third‑party providers to support project delivery.
• Track site progress and communicate updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Review project documentation such as design packs, work schedules and scheme requirements.
• Attend handover, pre‑start and client progress meetings.
• Ensure construction and compliance documentation is completed accurately and submitted in line with industry standards.
• Coordinate materials, plant and labour requirements.
• Support performance reviews and contribute to operational improvements.
• Maintain full compliance with legislative, industry and company health and safety standards.
• Mentor and guide operational teams to achieve high‑quality project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising utility, infrastructure or construction‑related projects.
• Strong understanding of on‑site operational delivery and workforce coordination.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Required skills

• Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Understanding of industry compliance requirements.
