Skilled Sheet Metal Worker – Precision Engineering (Full‑Time)

About the role

Join a leading precision engineering and aerospace manufacturer as a Sheet Metal Worker. You will produce high‑quality sheet metal components in an AS9100‑accredited environment, supporting the delivery of critical aerospace parts.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret complex engineering drawings and aerospace specifications.
• Set up and operate brake presses, Promecam presses, rubber presses, guillotines, and band saws.
• Measure, mark, cut, bend, form, stretch and shrink aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel to tight tolerances.
• Perform deburring, drilling and fly‑press operations, and calculate bend allowances.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring equipment to ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet on‑time delivery targets.
• Support continuous‑improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a sheet metal worker in a precision‑engineering or high‑specification manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with aerospace, automotive or similar high‑precision sectors.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings confidently.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality procedures.
