About the role
Join a leading multi‑disciplinary veterinary hospital as a Small Animal Neurology Intern. You will work alongside two Neurology Diplomates, gaining hands‑on experience in advanced neurological diagnostics and patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical care for in‑house patients during evenings, nights, and selected weekends.
- Assist in client communication and case discussions.
- Participate in medical and surgical case management, including consults.
- Maintain accurate patient records and written correspondence.
- Contribute to a respectful, inclusive team environment.
Required profile
- Recent veterinary graduate aiming for a Neurology residency.
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including 1 in 4 weekend cover.
- Strong attention to detail and record‑keeping skills.
- Commitment to collaborative, supportive teamwork.
Required skills
- Use of MRI (1.5T) and CT scanners.
- Operation of electrodiagnostic equipment.
- Proficiency with radiography and arthroscopy equipment.
