Smart Device and Connected Care System Installer

About the role

Locktel Ltd is expanding its network of skilled installers across Scotland and England. You will be responsible for installing, configuring and commissioning a range of smart‑device and connected‑care systems in residential and supported‑living environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install intruder alarms, fire alarms, telecare and dispersed alarm systems.
• Fit access‑control hardware and perform Cat5/structured‑cabling works.
• Set up smart‑home and connected devices, ensuring proper configuration and commissioning.
• Leave each site tidy, professional and fully operational on the first visit.
• Travel to client locations as required and maintain accurate service records.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with the above equipment and a pride in clean workmanship.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working in people’s homes and with vulnerable users.
• Flexibility to travel within Scotland and England.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
