SOC Analyst – Security Operations Center

About the role

We are seeking a proactive SOC Analyst to join our Information Security team in Manchester. Working in a hybrid environment, you will help detect, analyse, and mitigate security incidents across the organisation, ensuring a robust security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse alerts from SIEM, EDR, Azure, vulnerability scanners and other security tools.
• Tune and enhance security alerting and remediation processes in collaboration with support partners.
• Investigate potential intrusions, classify events, and document findings for internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform network logging, forensic analysis, and use security analytics platforms to support incident response.
• Assist Security Engineers in strengthening overall security controls and contribute to the maturity of the OneStream SOC.

Required profile

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of infrastructure or information security experience.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to adapt to evolving threats.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM tools.
• Knowledge of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
• Familiarity with Azure security services.
• Use of vulnerability scanning tools.
• Network logging and forensic investigation techniques.
• Security analytics and log search technologies.
