Social Impact Lead

About the role

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Social Impact Lead for its Moor Row site. You will design and deliver social impact initiatives that align with regional priorities, strengthen community partnerships, and support the company’s business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project‑specific Social Impact Plans and related campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and other stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice on stakeholder engagement and social impact across the business.
• Monitor, measure and report on social value activities and key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with communications colleagues to deliver newsletters, social media content, events and other engagement channels.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social impact, communications, public relations, media or marketing.
• Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of social impact metrics and measuring social value outcomes.
• Understanding of community needs and social impact priorities in West Cumbria.

Required skills

• Experience using multimedia and communications tools.
