Social Media Manager

About the role

Debenhams Group is transforming its brands, and boohooMAN needs a dynamic Social Media Manager to shape its digital voice. Based in Ancoats, Manchester, you will own the social strategy across all key platforms, ensuring the brand stays ahead of trends and drives commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute boohooMAN’s social media strategy on Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, X, YouTube and emerging channels.
• Align social plans with brand campaigns, product launches, collaborations and cultural moments.
• Lead content creation, manage editorial calendars, and provide creative direction for shoots and reactive content.
• Oversee influencer integration, community management and performance reporting.
• Identify growth opportunities, monitor trends and emerging technologies to keep the brand culturally relevant.
• Lead, coach and motivate the social media team, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media strategy and execution for fashion or youth‑focused brands.
• Deep understanding of youth culture, fashion, sport and entertainment.
• Track record of building engaged communities and delivering measurable commercial impact.
• Strong collaborative mindset, able to work with Creative, Brand, PR and Marketing teams.

Required skills

• Expertise in managing Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, X and YouTube.
• Ability to analyse social performance data and produce actionable insights.
• Creative direction for social‑first content and storytelling.
