Social Media Manager – Part‑time, Hybrid

About the role

We are a grant‑making charitable foundation seeking a part‑time Social Media Manager to lead and grow our online presence. The role is hybrid, based in the UK with a preference for candidates near London who can attend occasional in‑person meetings. You will help shape the Foundation’s voice across Instagram and LinkedIn while supporting broader communications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Foundation’s social media channels, posting several times a week.
• Create, schedule and publish content that reflects the Foundation’s values.
• Engage with audiences by replying to comments, liking posts and resharing relevant material.
• Update the news section of the Foundation’s website.
• Plan and maintain a cross‑platform content calendar.
• Liaise with partner charities and organisations to coordinate press and exhibition material.
• Support wider communications initiatives as the role evolves.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social media accounts for a foundation, charity or values‑led organisation.
• Strong written communication with an eye for tone and brand voice.
• Well‑organized, self‑directed and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to attend occasional meetings in London and collaborate with external partners.

Required skills

• Experience with Instagram and LinkedIn content creation and scheduling.
• Confidence updating website content; familiarity with Sanity or similar CMS platforms is a plus.
