About the role

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to shape and grow Reedsy’s presence across key platforms. The role blends creativity with data‑driven decision‑making to deliver content that educates, inspires, and entertains writers and publishing professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Own and expand Reedsy’s presence on all major social channels.
• Transform Reedsy’s expertise, products, and community into clear, engaging content for writers and publishing professionals.
• Develop recurring formats, campaigns, and creative concepts that reflect the Reedsy brand.
• Track performance metrics, identify resonating content, and continuously refine strategy based on insights.

Required profile

• Analytical and highly creative mindset, using data to inform content.
• Proven experience scaling a brand in a fast‑growing startup environment.
• Track record of social campaigns with measurable impact.
• Excellent editorial instincts and strong command of written English.
• Deep understanding of what makes social content useful, engaging, and shareable.
• Ability to explain complex ideas simply without dumbing them down.
• Genuine interest in writing, publishing, books, or the creator economy.

Required skills

• Short‑form video content creation.
• Fluency in multiple languages.
