Social Media Officer

About the role

The Social Media Officer will lead day‑to‑day social media activity for a purpose‑led charitable organisation. Working from our London office, you will create and optimise content that raises awareness, supports fundraising and grows our audience across several brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and publish engaging posts, graphics and short videos on multiple platforms.
• Maintain content calendars aligned with campaigns, key dates and awareness events.
• Monitor community interaction, respond to comments and manage real‑time engagement.
• Analyse performance data, produce regular reports and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce relevant, on‑brand content.
• Provide live‑social coverage for events when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social media content and multi‑channel campaigns.
• Strong copy‑writing ability with meticulous attention to detail.
• Confidence creating both video and static visual assets.
• Ability to juggle multiple content calendars and priorities.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience reporting on performance metrics.
