Social Prescriber – Locum (Part‑time, Temporary)

About the role
We are seeking a Social Prescriber to provide cover for a Primary Care Organisation in Lewisham and the surrounding area for the next 3‑4 months. This is a locum position that offers flexible, part‑time hours with no minimum commitment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver social prescribing services on a locum basis for a 3‑4 month period.
- Create and manage your own rota, picking up shifts that suit your schedule.
- Gain primary‑care experience while working within a GP surgery environment.
Required profile
- Available to work in Lewisham and nearby locations.
- Able to work flexible hours with no minimum shift requirement.
- Comfortable operating in a primary‑care setting on a temporary basis.
Required skills
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £16.25‑£22 (including holiday pay).
- Access to shifts via the Chase Medical app with up to 18 months of booking in advance.
- Choice of three payment methods.
- Opportunity to use locum work as a trial period for permanent primary‑care roles.
